The 30TB LTO-8 Ultrium RW Data Cartridge from HPE has been tested to meet demands for high levels of reliability when restoring data. It offers a high storage density, ease of management, and scalable storage and backup performance with an archival life of up to 30 years. Uncompressed, it offers a storage capacity of 12TB and read speeds of up to 360 MB/s, but thanks to a 2.5:1 compression factor, it can deliver a storage capacity of 30TB and read speeds of up to 700 MB/s, or 2.7TB per hour. This media is rewritable, as compared to WORM (write once, read many), and to help keep your data secure .
