Designed for small offices and workgroup environments, the DiskStation DS116 1-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology allows users to share and synchronize files across multiple devices and public cloud storage services from virtually anywhere, while also helping to boost work productivity and enhance team collaboration. It is equipped with one drive bay that is capable of natively supporting 3.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s and SATA II 3 Gb/s hard drives. Using a separately sold adapter, it is also able to support 2.5" SATA III and SATA II hard drives and SSDs. Using its single drive bay, this NAS will allow you to store and share a large number of files, including videos, music, photos, and documents with up to 2,048 user accounts.
